This is a recreational/rec select tournament only– no travel players are permitted to play
Player may only be on the roster of one team during this tournament
Guest players are permitted but must be listed as such on the roster form. Clubs may also enter rec select teams into tournamanet
No player may play for multiple teams during the course of the entire tournament. The player MAY BE ROSTERED on more than one team but cannot PLAY for more than one team.
Payment/Refund Policy
All team payments must be received one week prior to tournament.
If team withdrawls from tournament 2 weeks prior to the tournament start date – a full refund of the team registration fee will granted. If a team withdrawl occurs after the tournament start date or within 48 hours of the start date no refund will be given to the team.
In the event of tournament cancellation due to weather conditions or any other event, all registrations fees paid will be returned to each team/club.
3. Game Formats
U10 – 8 v 8 and 2 x 20 minute halves
U12 – 8 v 8 and 2 x 25 minute halves
Substitutions:
Substitutions are unimited in all age groups
Substitutions on possession of the ball only (ball throw in, goal kick, after goal scored, or at halftime – in between quarters, not on corner kicks, penalty kicks)
Ball Sizes
U10 – Size 4
U12 – Size 4
4. Game officials (referees) are Godly and his or her decisions are final….period.
5. Game Conduct and Play
No foul language will be tolerated
No slide tackles will be permitted! (Players will be red-carded for any slide tackle and will sit out for the remainder of the game plus the next game.)
Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their players and sideline spectators.
Referees do have the authority to dismiss coaches, players, and spectators for conduct that they determine is inappropriate. (Players that are red-carded must sit out the remainder of that game plus the next game)
Please use good judgment and remember that this is a fun tournament for all!
6. Scoring System:
Win = 6 Points
Loss = 0 Points
Tie = 3 Points
1 Point for each goal (3 points maximum)
1 Point for a shut out
Maximum of 10 points per game
Top two teams in each division play in championship game. Team with third most points wins third place.
The tie breaking procedures are the following, in order:
Most wins
Result of a head to head competition
Goal differential (Number of goals scored minus the number of goals given)
Total goals scored
Total goals scored against
A coin toss conducted by the tournament director
In the event of a forfeit, the forfeiting team will be assumed to have lost 0 to 3, and the winning team will be credited with the points accordingly.
Only in a Championship game if a tie occurs, there will be 2-5 minute overtime periods, followed by a shootout if needed.
